Job summary

World Wildlife Fund, Inc. seeks a communications specialist to support plastics initiatives within the Private Sector Engagement team.

You will collaborate with partners and internal teams to craft and implement campaigns, create engaging content, and manage materials for high-impact engagements. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience in communications.
  • Advanced degree with relevant external or in-house communications experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute communication workplans to position WWF as a leader in plastics communications with diverse audiences.
  • Support development of communications plans with corporate partners and partners to coordinate timely campaigns.
  • Maintain and update WWF Plastics Initiative webpages with accurate content.
  • Develop materials and provide in-person support for speaking engagements, including pitch decks, case studies and presentations.
  • Contribute to social media strategy and content creation focused on LinkedIn.
  • Contribute to content strategy with blog posts, web stories, conference pitches, and stakeholder letters.
  • Provide project management support for asset development with third-party vendors and in-person activities.
  • Collaborate with WWF goal teams and Marketing & Communications to align plastics messaging with corporate engagement.
  • Support monthly internal newsletters and weekly news roundups for the Corporate Engagement Community of Practice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
