Job summary

Buckhorn is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the upkeep of plastics molding operations and facility equipment. The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting skills, leadership, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

You will oversee mold changes, equipment repair, and safety compliance, while coordinating with suppliers and other departments to ensure production efficiency and quality. A background in maintenance with hands-on leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Five plus years' experience in the maintenance field, primarily in plastics molding.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
• Solid leadership background with excellent verbal skills.
• Self-motivated, able to drive projects independently and meet tight timelines.
• Proficient with CMMS, Excel, and Microsoft Project; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Supervise maintenance repairs, mold changes, and technical services on shift; ensure supplies and timely repairs.
• Identify resources for projects and manage timelines and budgets to deliver reliable results.
• Communicate project status and interface with operations as required.
• Drive risk mitigation plans and maintain action registers for projects.
• Oversee maintenance of molding machines, forklifts, and building facilities, ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Inspect new machinery before operation and maintain 5S within the facility.
• Interact with suppliers and other departments to schedule resources.
