Job summary

Duties include operating multiple lines, inspecting products, measuring pipe dimensions, handling forklifts, assisting start-ups and changeovers, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills.
• Previous machine operation or assembly experience, plastic industry preferred.
• Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of multiple lines, including loading gaskets and packaging end product for shipment.
• Visually inspect products for quality assurance purposes.
• Measure and record pipe dimensions as required.
• Take proper action according to SPC Charting.
• Control dimensions to maintain pipe specifications with direct supervision.
• Move bundled pipe from work area (scrap and good product) with the use of forklift.
• Assist in production line start-up activities and changeovers.
• Follow all operational and safety procedures.
• Cut and band scrap as directed.
