Job summary

WMC LLC in Michigan is seeking a Lab Testing Technician for the plastics lab to perform tests on raw materials, blends, and finished products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and the Quality Management System.

This role covers setup and operation of lab equipment, data collection, and reporting, with first and second shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Training is provided, and growth opportunities exist within a recognized plastics company.

Qualifications

• Quality control tests and inspections to evaluate product quality.

Responsibilities

• Procure and set up equipment, instruments, and materials for tests.
• Perform routine tests, examinations, and assist in experiment setup.
• Compile data and identify out-of-specification materials.
• Conduct visual inspections of finished products.
• Operate plastic injection mold machine for testing.
• Maintain and operate standard lab equipment.
• Clean and sterilize laboratory and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain routine laboratory records.
• Ensure lab cleanliness and safety standards are followed.
