Job summary

Colson Group is seeking a Plastic Technician for a 44,000-sf non-climate controlled facility in Magnolia, TX. The role involves producing urethane parts, weighing and heating resins, pouring molds, and handling hot equipment in a safe warehouse environment.

You will work Mon–Thu 7:00am–5:30pm with Friday as needed, enjoy a 40-hour baseline schedule with potential overtime, and receive extensive on-the-job training plus health and other benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk for 8–10 hours daily.
• Team-oriented and able to communicate well.
• Follow guidelines and procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Produce plastic parts according to detailed work instructions.
• Weigh, mix, and heat liquid resins accurately and safely.
• Pour and heat molds in ovens; handle hot molds.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Meet daily quotas and record progress on reports.
• Extensive training provided.
• Assist with training and follow supervisor directions.

PLASTIC TECHNICIANposition available at a 44,000sf non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse with approx. 30 employees producing urethane parts from raw materials. The Plastic Technician will perform manual labor in our safe, clean, organized, and well-ventilated warehouse.
