Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Physician Assistant in the Bellevue Plastic Surgery service. The role involves providing comprehensive medical care under supervision, coordinating patient care, and supporting the interdisciplinary team in a high-volume setting.

The successful candidate will hold a NYS Physician Assistant license, NCCPA board certification, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant degree and licensure required.
• NCCPA board certification is mandatory.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care under supervision per standards of care.
• Coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Prescribe medications per NYS law and practice protocol.
• Collaborate with nursing and other health professionals in care plans.
• Participate in research protocols and clinical studies when applicable.
• Maintain PA board certification and CME requirements.
