Job summary

Ascension's Tulsa Plastic Surgery team seeks a Medical Assistant to greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and take vital signs. You will assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth patient flow in a busy clinic.

You will document symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and orders in real time, contributing to complete medical records. The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate charting, and compassionate patient care within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 1 month; Medical Assistant CMA/RMA preferred.
• Experience supporting clinical staff and maintaining patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and obtain accurate vital signs.
• Assist providers during clinical treatments and procedures.
• Document symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and orders in real-time.
• Maintain stocked, clean exam spaces and support clinic operations.
