Job summary
New York City Health + Hospitals Corporation is seeking a Plastic Surgeon for Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx. Qualifications
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Plastic Surgery by the ABPS.
- Active New York State medical license.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the education of medical trainees by participating in teaching, staff conferences, and assigned research projects.
- Conducts consultations for patients who suffer from birth defects, injuries, burn wounds, or those seeking cosmetic enhancement.
- Prepares patients for both surgical and non-surgical procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
- Oversees post-procedure care, including stitch removal, incision assessments, and monitoring the healing process.
