Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Plastic Surgeon for a mobile wound care role. Work days are Monday–Friday with no nights, no calls, and no weekends, across post-acute care facilities. You’ll perform bedside wound management using a proprietary EMR and join experienced wound-certified trainers.

The position offers full-time hours (4–5 days/wk) with training during onboarding and a wound care fellowship. Benefits include health, retirement, and malpractice coverage with tail.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the practice state.
• Willingness to commit to at least 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (SNFs and LTACHs).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day; manage ~20–30 patients daily.

Practice Overview

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7 am - 4 pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. The full-time role is 4-5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
