A national wound management group is seeking a Part-Time Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound care primarily in skilled nursing facilities. This position offers flexibility with no weekend obligations and allows for a commitment of just three weekdays per week. Candidates must possess an active MD/DO medical license. Comprehensive training and a fellowship on wound care will be provided. This role supports work-life balance, ensuring autonomy while delivering modern wound management.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Document clinical information in real-time using proprietary EMR.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius; treat ~20-30 patients per day.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post‑acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long‑Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part‑time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4-5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40–60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
