Job summary

Buckhorn is seeking a motivated team-oriented worker for production duties including removal of molded plastic parts, assembly, hot stamping, inspection for flaws, and manual flaw correction to meet quality standards.

You will perform routine tasks, follow safety guidelines, and may work overtime during busy periods to support production schedules and deliver high-quality products to customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization.
• Ability to perform basic math operations to arrive at a solution.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Trim Flash and sprues from parts.
• Clean grease and oil from parts.
• Apply product labels and ID labels to parts.
• Operate secondary operations (hot stamp, router, pin machines, etc.).
• Assemble parts for different lines.
• Package parts.
• Work independently and in teams to meet production schedules.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Notify supervisor if problems are detected with product or machinery.
• Perform relief duties as needed.
• Keep plant clean by sweeping and mopping.
• Overtime may be required periodically during busy times.
