Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Physician - Plastic & Hand Surgery. The incumbent will report to the Chief of Plastic & Hand Surgery and provide medical and surgical services to eligible Veterans in the Plastic & Hand Surgery section.

Responsibilities include operative procedures, patient evaluation, supervision of trainees, on-call duties, and teaching.

Qualifications

• Board-certified plastic surgeon with expertise in reconstructive and hand surgery.
• Supervision and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations requiring a plastic and hand surgeon.
• Provide evaluation and management of plastic and hand surgery patients in clinics, ER, ICU and OR.
• Supervise trainees including medical students, residents and fellows.
• Share on-call coverage 24/7 according to schedule.
