Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Extrusion Operator for the 2nd shift in Louisville, KY. You will operate extrusion equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals. The role requires 1-3 years manufacturing experience, forklift experience, basic math and analytical skills, and a strong focus on safety.

You will perform inspections, adjust controls, and document quality data. The position offers a dynamic manufacturing environment, opportunities for skill growth, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience as a machine operator.
• Basic math, reading, computer and analytical skills.
• High awareness of safety protocols and ability to analyze and resolve production issues.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, including overtime and weekend shifts if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic extrusion equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
• Adjust gauges to control extruder speed, temperature, pressure, and winder speeds for optimal product quality.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and company standards.
