Job summary

Qualified Staffing in Howell, MI is hiring Plastic Assemblers for all shifts to operate and maintain production equipment, assemble and pack plastic containers, and perform visual quality checks.

You will log production data, palletize and move finished goods, report equipment issues, and support QA testing while following GMP and safety policies; overtime and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math and clear communication
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Familiarity with production machinery; forklift experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods; bend/twist as needed
• Overtime and weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Inspect, assemble, and pack plastic containers by hand or machine
• Perform visual inspections for defects and proper handle placement in GMP
• Stack, palletize, strap, wrap, and move finished product per instructions
• Maintain accurate production and machine logs
• Report equipment issues to Lead or Machine Technician
• Support QA testing and quality inspections as needed
• Follow safety policies; promote a quality-focused culture
• Work collaboratively with the team; maintain punctual attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Shifts:

• 1st – 7am-3pm
• 2nd – 3pm-11pm
• 3rd – 11pm-7am

Pay Range: $17.50-$18.50 depending on experience/position

Job Summary

Operate and maintain production equipment while inspecting, assembling, and packing plastic containers. Perform visual quality checks, palletizing, and material handling to meet production and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Inspect, assemble, and pack plastic containers by hand or machine
• Perform visual inspections for defects and proper handle placement in compliance with GMP standards
• Stack, palletize, strap, wrap, and move finished product per Job Traveler instructions
• Maintain accurate production and machine logs

• Follow all safety policies and promote a strong quality-focused work culture
• Work collaboratively with the team; maintain punctual attendance
• Other duties as assigned
