Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a skilled plasterer to maintain quality homes across Brent, working within occupied social housing properties. You will carry out plastering repairs and maintenance with a focus on safety and high workmanship.

The role requires proven plastering experience, a Level 2 NVQ, and the ability to work independently in residents' homes. A full UK driving licence is preferred, with a supportive, customer-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Has social housing or housing maintenance experience.
• Holds Level 2 NVQ.
• Confident working in occupied properties.
• Reliable, friendly and approachable with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs in occupied social housing properties.
• Internal plaster repairs and patching, skimming and rendering.
• Repair damaged walls and ceilings, and make good after plumbing/electrical works.
• Prepare surfaces for a high-quality finish.
• Work respectfully and professionally in residents' homes.
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of plastering repairs in occupied social housing properties, including:

• Internal plaster repairs and patching
• Skimming and rendering
• Repairing damaged walls and ceilings
• Making good following plumbing, electrical and other maintenance works
• Preparing surfaces and ensuring a high-quality finish
• Working respectfully and professionally in residents' homes
• Completing jobs efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship

About You:

• Has proven experience as a Plasterer
• Has previous social housing or housing maintenance experience
• Holds Level 2 NVQ
• Is confident working in occupied properties
• Takes pride in delivering a quality finish
• Is reliable, friendly and approachable
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Can work independently and manage a busy workload
• Holds a full UK driving licence
