Work standard is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Washington, USA. You will install and finish plasterboard on various construction projects, measuring, cutting, and fitting to exact areas.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and a monthly salary of $1,500. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, be able to read blueprints, and be familiar with plasterboard materials and hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterboard Worker in the construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of different types of plasterboard materials and their uses
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in plastering work
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
• Secure plasterboard to walls, ceilings, and partitions using screws or adhesive
• Apply tape and joint compound to seal gaps between plasterboard sheets
• Smooth out seams and joints to create a seamless surface
• Sand down rough areas for a smooth finish
• Repair or replace damaged or uneven sections of plasterboard
• Follow safety protocols at all times
