Qualifications

• Previous experience as a plasterboard worker or in a similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Familiarity with hand and mechanical plastering tools.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut plasterboard panels to fit areas.
• Install plasterboard panels on walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
• Apply joint compound and tape to seams between panels.
• Smooth out compound using hand or mechanical tools.
• Sand excess compound for a smooth finish.
• Repair damaged or uneven sections of plasterboard.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
