The Technician supports the phlebotomy floor, sets up automated plasmapheresis equipment, and collaborates with team members to deliver professional donor experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor confidentiality.
• Confirm donor identification through multiple control points.
• Set up and operate automated plasmapheresis devices as per procedures.
• Monitor donors during collection and manage donor reactions.
• Record donor vital signs and weight; log results.
• Defer donors per standard operating procedures.
• Explain deferrals and associated time frames to donors.
• Restock supplies and organize the collection area.
• Assist with administrative duties to maintain compliance.
