Job summary

KEDPLASMA is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as the on-site clinical expert for donor programs. You will evaluate donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs, review health histories, educate donors on procedures and informed consent, and monitor for adverse reactions to ensure a safe, compassionate experience.

You will administer immunizations, manage donor safety, and collaborate with the Center Medical Director and staff to maintain regulatory compliance and donor

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in plasma/blood collection is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDA/ OSHA/ CLIA regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor eligibility exams for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Review donor health history and lab results to determine suitability.
• Educate donors on donation process, risks, benefits, and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor for adverse responses.
• Respond to donor reactions and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment and readiness.
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide counseling.
• Participate in safety committee activities and educate staff on protocols.
• Manage donor immunization programs and ensure SOP compliance.
• Assist with plasmapheresis and whole blood procedures when needed.
• Maintain donor charts and review medical incidents.
