Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a qualified health professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and to provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff. You will interview donors, review medical histories, interpret test results, and advise on donor eligibility under SOPs.

Engage with Center Medical Director on medical questions and escalate critical cases to physicians as required. Prior experience in plasma donation environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited paramedic, nursing, PA, or medical training program.
• Foreign medical grads must hold current physician licensure or emergency medical technician certification.
• US state licensure requirements vary by location.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis under supervision.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff per licensure.
• Interview donors and review medical history to determine donation eligibility.
• Consult with Center Medical Director on donor suitability questions.
• Review test results and assess continued donor eligibility; identify adverse symptoms.
• Counsel donors on reactive tests and refer for follow-up care as needed.
