Fusion Energy Base in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Scientist specializing in fusion plasma diagnostics. In this role, you will lead the design and deployment of advanced diagnostic systems critical to our fusion research and commercial goals.
The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering, along with extensive experience in diagnostic systems for plasma physics experiments. We offer a hybrid work policy and competitive compensation.

Type One Energy is seeking a Scientist with experience in fusion plasma diagnostics to join its growing team. As a Scientist, you will be responsible for leading a subset of diagnostic systems to support scientific investigations on our advanced fusion stellarator, including development, deployment, and operation. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving progress and ensuring the successful operation of diagnostic systems critical to achieving our research and commercial goals. The ideal candidate will also give technical advice and otherwise contribute to other teams of Engineers and Scientists on similar projects throughout Type One Energy.
