Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a donor screener/phlebotomy role supporting plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform health screenings, collect vital signs and finger stick results, and ensure donor safety.

You will use the Donor Information System, maintain donor charts and records, coordinate compensation, and participate in process improvements. The schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive benefits and on-demand pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

• Work a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.

About the role:

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage:

$16.00

The starting hourly wage reflects the actual starting rate for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
