Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves supporting plasma center operations, determining donor eligibility, managing medical emergencies, and overseeing employee incidents. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA), and complete state requirements for IV therapy. You will also manage vaccination programs and serve as Pandemic Coordinator when needed, all while working in a supportive environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed or certified in the state as RN, NP, or PA.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow medical emergency SOPs.
• Manage employee incidents and evaluate needs for further care.
