Job summary

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, following SOPs and FDA training requirements, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• State license or certification in the relevant nursing or EMT field.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Completion of FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, self-exclusion, medical history review, physical exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions as per SOPs and medical guidance.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and arrange emergency transport as needed.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on unacceptable findings.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable; manage incidents per occupational health procedures.
• Reference EHS guidance for incidents and act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
