Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Center Medical Specialist for our plasma donation centers. The role requires licensure as RN/LPN/LVN or EMT (EMT-B or EMT-Paramedic) with CPR certification. You will assess donors, educate them on health topics, and respond to adverse events.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN/LVN or EMT licensure required in state of employment.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform donor medical screening and history to determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction and comfort.
• Maintain donor and staff confidentiality at all times.
• Educate donors on general health and counseling on test results.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
• Assess history of illness or medications to maintain donor suitability.
• Assist in employee training.
• Administer Hepatitis vaccine program for staff.
