Job summary

A Morris County based landscape design/build firm is seeking a fulltime planting foreman to oversee and execute all landscape installations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in planting, grading, and mulching. Responsibilities include ensuring crew safety, maintaining tools, and completing site paperwork. A valid driver’s license and experience with various plant materials are essential. Competitive salary based on experience offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working for a landscape company or equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or have a mode of transportation to the job.
• Must have experience planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals.
• Must have experience installing soil, mulch, seed, and sod.
• Should have general knowledge of plant material.
• Must be able to fill out necessary paperwork/documents on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate must have experience in planting, grading, mulching, and sodding. Primary responsibilities include overseeing and executing all landscape installations, ensuring safety of all crew members, proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools, completing all and necessary site paperwork.
