Regeneron is seeking a Plant Utilities Technician in Rensselaer, NY, to support plant utility systems within the facilities. You will start up, operate, monitor, maintain and shut down boiler and other utility equipment across plant utility rooms, ensuring reliable operations in a fast-paced, science-driven environment.

The role requires an AAS or equivalent and progressive experience (Technician II–IV). You will adapt to rotating on-call schedules and collaborate with multiple departments,

Qualifikationen

• AAS degree or equivalent with specified experience by Technician level.
• Experience with high-pressure boilers and waste neutralization is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in rotational on-call schedule.
• Prior experience maintaining large-scale utilities plant is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Maintain high pressure steam and hot water boilers, controls, and related equipment; manage boiler and cooling tower chemical treatment.
• Maintain other Plant Utility equipment such as boiler pretreatment water, condensate return, natural gas, domestic water, tepid water and wastewater.
• Review, monitor, respond to, and react to BAS alarm notifications.
• Perform Plant Utility monthly Preventative Maintenance.
• Plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors for scheduled or unscheduled PM or general work.
• Schedule, assign, complete, and review Plant Utility incursions.
• Communicate and coordinate with departments and Facilities Management for planned/unplanned work.
• Maintain documents and records on all plant equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractors on scheduling repairs and maintenance.
