Job summary

Procter & Gamble is hiring Plant Technicians at the Browns Summit, NC plant. You will help run and maintain production lines, pack equipment, and monitor processes from a computer terminal, with limited supervision and strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role offers on‑the‑job training, career progression into electrical, QA, safety, and other areas, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work involves 12‑hour shifts on a 2‑2‑3 schedule, with day and night options.

We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements:

• Use basic hand and power tools
• Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms; twist, turn and bend
• Enter confined spaces
• Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time

Our Work Schedule:

The Greensboro Procter & Gamble Plant operates 7-days per week on 12-hour shifts. Most employees work a 2-2-3 work schedule. Day shift is 7:00 am - 7:30 pm and night shift is 7:00 pm - 7:30 am.

Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the shift schedule.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
• Willing to work a day shift or night shift

• Starting Pay / Salary Range:$24.64 per hour plus an additional $0.50 - $2.00 per hour based on work schedule.
