Job summary

Diamond Pet Foods in Frontenac, Kansas is hiring for Plant Technician on 3rd (day) and 4th (night) shifts. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour with a $2 night shift differential.

You will rotate through multiple plant areas to prepare for openings in operations, with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits. Highlights include following GMPs and safety rules, producing high quality products, regular attendance, teamwork, and cross-training across packaging areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Two years forklift operation experience preferred.

PLANT TECHNICIAN

PLANT TECHNICIAN
SHIFT – 4th Shift (Nights) & 3rd Shift (Days)
PAY - $19.00 / hr plus $2 per hour for Night Shift Differential
Our Frontenac, Kansas facility is now accepting applications for Full-Time Plant Technician positions on 3rd (day) & 4th (night) shifts, 6a to 6:20p and 6p to 6:20a. These positions will be trained in multiple areas of the plant to prepare them for any openings that become available in the operations area of the plant. Competitive wages and excellent benefits. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
• Two years forklift operation in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred

Language Skills

• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's, and general instructions
• Good communication skills are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Be able to lift 50 pounds on a routine basis
• Push/Pull up to 100 pounds on a routine basis
• Be able to climb and work in extreme heat or cold and on scaffolding at very high elevations
