ThyssenKrupp Materials NA in Rochester, NY is seeking a Plant Supervisor II for Day Shift to lead a manufacturing team, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and manage budgets.

You will recruit, coach, and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, and implement lean practices while maintaining production and distribution objectives within the department. Onsite only, with ITAR compliance noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Warehouse experience (forklift, packing, measuring).
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Meet production and distribution objectives within budget and deadlines.
• Teach, coach, and demonstrate work activities for team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate, assign, and review work priorities.
• Ensure team members receive training on safety, equipment use, and company policies.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete and submit accident/incident reports within 24 hours.
• Monitor working conditions and take corrective action as needed.
• Apply problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Why, Kaizen).
• Perform administrative duties and maintain accurate records.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations or Plant Manager.

Your responsibilities

• First Aid/CPR training.

Job Compensation

$68,000 - $73,000 + monthly gainshare
