We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Superintendent to lead operations in our window manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing production, safety, quality, staffing, and overall operational performance during the assigned shift.
The Plant Superintendent will work closely with supervisors and department leaders to ensure production goals are met while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). Frequent use of company communication devices are required such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics.
