Job summary

Proliant Health & Biologicals seeks a Plant Superintendent to lead Boone, Iowa manufacturing operations. You will manage Production Supervisors and the Maintenance Supervisor, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding continuous improvement.

Reporting to Plant Manager, you will oversee budgeting, capital projects, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen performance and employee development in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years experience leading supervisors and frontline teams.
• Strong knowledge of production operations, maintenance coordination, and performance metrics.
• Experience in food, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, agricultural processing, or other similarly regulated manufacturing environments required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with proficiency in excel data analytics.

Proliant Health & Biologicals is seeking a Plant Superintendent to join our manufacturing leadership team in Boone, Iowa.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will lead daily plant operations with direct responsibility for Production Supervisors, the Maintenance Supervisor, and plant employees. The Plant Superintendent plays a critical role in driving safety, quality, productivity, employee development, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
