Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Plant Scheduler for the Kansas City, MO location to link sales, operations and supply chain. You will coordinate orders, manage roll stock, and optimize production planning across multiple lines in a high-SKU environment.

Qualifications include corrugated manufacturing experience, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with MS Office. Occasional on-call/weekend work may be required.

• Manage roll stock: ordering, receiving, warehousing, and consuming paper; analyze usage and trends.
• Interface directly with production, customer service, and other plant departments.
• Exemplify and advance the PBM® (Principled Based Management) philosophy.
• Manage roll room and off-site warehouse roll inventory.
• Ability to work on call and weekend basis as needed.

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a qualified professional to join the team as a Plant Scheduler supporting the Kansas City, Missouri location. This role serves as a key link among sales, operations, and supply chain. The Plant Scheduler will support the facility’s needs, from ordering vital supplies to coordinating finished materials, while optimizing production planning in a high-SKU manufacturing environment with multiple production lines. A successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive approach, a desire to learn, and the ability to think outside the box!

What You Will Do

• Scheduling of orders for a corrugated paper machine, finishing equipment, and managing the roll stock inventory
• Working with customer service to effectively plan to meet customer needs and efficiently maximize the productivity of the operation
• Managing roll stock which includes ordering, receiving, warehousing, and consuming paper in addition to analyzing usage and utilization trends to ensure the right product mix is available to efficiently meet the needs of our customers
• Interfacing and working directly with production, customer service, and various other departments within the plant operation
• Exemplify and advance the PBM® (Principled Based Management) philosophy
• Manage roll room and off‑site warehouse roll inventory
• Ability to work on call and weekend basis as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
