Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Schulenburg, TX is seeking a Lead Sanitation Supervisor to lead the plant sanitation and pest control programs, standardize procedures, and drive continuous improvement in cleaning and sanitation across the facility.

You will supervise Sanitation Leads and Technicians, develop MSS, SSOPs, cleaning validations, and coordinate with QA, Operations, and suppliers to ensure food safety and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training with 1-2 years post-secondary education.
• Experience in food plant sanitation and related systems.
• Knowledge of GMPs, cleaning validations, and allergen controls.
• PCQI certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation and pest control programs, standardize systems and procedures.
• Develop Master Sanitation Schedules and SSOPs; oversee validations.
• Supervise sanitation staff; coordinate with QA, Operations and vendors.
• Manage chemical use, training, and safety for staff and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost savings in cleaning activities.
