Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in plant sanitation within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience with food safety management systems such as HACCP, GMPs, SQF, or BRC.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
• Familiarity with microbiological principles and their application in sanitation.
• Proficient in interpreting and applying regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of robust sanitation programs upholding high cleanliness and regulatory standards.
• Design and manage sanitation schedules, SOPs, and chemical/equipment usage.
• Oversee internal audits, prepare for external inspections, and maintain meticulous documentation.
• Develop and deliver educational programs for sanitation and production staff.

Job Summary
Grande is now hiring for our brand-new state-of-the-art facility located in Chilton; an exciting opportunity to be part of building something from the ground up! We are seeking a dedicated Plant Sanitarian to lead the development and execution of robust sanitation programs that uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential to ensuring the safety and quality of our products by designing and managing sanitation schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and chemical and equipment usage. The ideal candidate will be well‑versed in FDA, USDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations, and will proactively adapt protocols to align with evolving industry standards.
