Job summary

Hill's Pet Nutrition, part of Colgate-Palmolive, is seeking a Plant Project Engineer in Washington Court House, OH. You will drive continuous improvements across manufacturing stages, implement capital projects, support daily plant operations, and manage technology transfers for batching, processing, and packaging.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 2+ years in manufacturing, and strong capability with drawings, PFDs, and regulatory compliance. Travel up to 10% may be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Processing Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop engineering drawings and PFDs.
• Ability to support a 24/5 manufacturing operation, including flexible shifts and on-call availability during start-ups.
• Demonstrated capability to ensure manufacturing asset compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for all manufacturing systems from unloading to packaging.
• Lead capital project management including planning, expenditure management, and technology transfer.
• Develop and implement process improvements to improve reliability, waste reduction, and product quality.
• Collaborate with global process engineering for design standardization and assist with IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
