Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a US-Project Engineer for a temporary assignment at the Horseheads plant. The role focuses on supporting capital project execution, developing and reviewing AutoCAD drawings, and coordinating across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.

The position involves site walks, layout planning, and ensuring timely documentation and reporting of project progress, with direct collaboration to plant leadership and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of capital projects, including scope development, layout reviews, and implementation activities.
• Develop, review, and update drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and execution.
• Assist with coordination across disciplines related to plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).
• Participate in site walks, equipment layouts, and installation planning.
• Support documentation, tracking, and reporting of capital project progress.
