Job summary

PURIS Grains Harrold, SD is seeking a Production Technician to help maintain 90% uptime, operate plant equipment, and support food safety and quality checks. The role includes handling packaging, materials intake, and clean, efficient work practices in a fast-paced, safety-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety is beneficial.
• 1 year or more in manufacturing or agricultural setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment to maintain peak performance and take corrective action.
• Perform routine tasks safely and uphold safety culture and GMP compliance.
• Assist with receiving raw materials and complete required documentation and check sheets.
• Operate packaging equipment and conduct quality checks throughout production.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support preventive maintenance.
