Job summary

Crothall Laundry Services in Manteca, CA seeks a frontline production team member to support a high-capacity commercial laundry plant. You may perform duties related to dryer operator, wash operator, stain washer, sewing/mending, soil sorting, folding, ironing, packing and distributing to meet customer needs.

You will maintain linen flow through tunnels and equipment, load pockets, and monitor hourly production standards while following safety precautions and reporting issues to supervision as

• Maintains flow of linen through tunnel, washers, dryers and related equipment.
• Loads linen into pockets and ensures correct load sizes to prevent overload.
• Follows safety directions and meets production standards per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintains flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc.
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Loads linen into empty pockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer.
• Keeps pockets loaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload.
• Follows directions and safety precautions.
• Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
• Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

Summary: Serves as a member of the front line production team. Responsible for various tasks that support the production of the high capacity commercial laundry plant in order to meet customer needs. The type of work performed could be related to the following: Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Sewing/Mending, Soil Sorting, as well as folding, commercial ironing, packing and distributing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
