Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Process / Production Engineer to join a global chemical client in Mount Pleasant, SC. The role supports batch and continuous operations, drives improvements, and ensures compliance with EHS/PSM regulations.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Chemical Engineering and 3+ years in process/production leadership, with experience in Lean Six Sigma and P&ID/MOC. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• BS Chemical Engineering with 3+ years as Process/Production Engineer/Leader in PSM chemical plants.
• Preferred experience with Lean/Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, PHA, MOC, P&IDs.
• Familiar with process unit operations and controls; reactors, distillation, polymerization, esterification, filtration, dryers, extrusion, heat treatment.
• Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Involved in day to day production support for batch/continuous chemical operations including troubleshooting and problem solving of process/equipment issues.
• Track Production Yields and Perform Mass Balances.
• Handle process improvement projects and lead initiatives to improve safety, productivity, quality and reliability.
• Support process downtime and runtime, production planning, packaging, shipping and receiving.
• Participate in PSM initiatives and audits and lead incident investigations as needed.
• Assist with Training of Operations Teams.
