Job summary

Colorcon, Inc. in West Point, PA, is seeking a Plant Support Engineer to identify, evaluate, plan and execute projects affecting processes, equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.

This role requires partnering with production, maintenance, quality and operations to improve safety, reliability and efficiency. The successful candidate will manage projects through all lifecycle stages, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure compliance with regulatory and company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial, or related).
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing/process engineering or related industrial experience.
• Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and implementation of process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engineering support to production, maintenance, quality, and operations teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute engineering initiatives.
• Investigate and support troubleshooting of equipment, processes, utility, and facility issues; recommend technically sound solutions.
• Participate in root cause investigations and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production requirements.
• Support and execute assigned capital and expense projects from concept through commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate with internal resources, contractors, vendors, and consultants to successfully execute projects and monitor safety.
