Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Operator in Malvern, AR to support the safe, efficient operation of production facilities. You will lubricate machinery, monitor conveyors, inspect equipment, and assist with maintenance while following safety rules and MSHA guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of aggregate/mining plant operations.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.
• Experience with operation of heavy mining/construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instruction.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on the systems, equipment and accessories.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs.
• Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.
• Lubricate machinery, monitor conveyors, shakers, crushers, feeders and pumps.

The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant. Position will assist with the scheduling of deliveries. These duties include lubricating machinery, shovel spillage areas, monitor the plant conveyors, shakers, crushers, feeders, and pumps, and inspect plant daily.
