Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Welding and cutting experience highly preferred.
• Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies.
• Examine and diagnose operational problems, and repair according to accepted methods.
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices.
• Perform other related duties such as maintenance/repair, and yard loading when needed.
• Understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form.
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts.
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations.
• Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times.
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
