Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Plant Operator in Weslaco, TX. The role offers $19–$20 per hour with overtime and full-time benefits.

You will operate and maintain plant equipment, handle wastewater material, and follow safety and environmental regulations. The position requires flexibility to work across varying conditions and shifts with a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Plant Operator is preferred.
• Laboratory experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to work in environments with strong odors.
• Must be willing to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage space for incoming wastewater and treatment of material.
• Perform cleanup of the area as required.
• Check tank levels for space for material processing.
• Follow all safety and compliance rules and regulations.
• Wears and properly uses safety equipment at all times.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment.
• May perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment including forklift and skid steer.
• May perform minor electrical maintenance functions.
• Cleans and maintains process equipment.

FULL TIME OPENING

Plant runs 6am to 4pm (average work day about 10 hours) + OT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of the material.
• Performs cleanup of the area as required.
• Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing.
• Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations.
• Wears and properly uses safety equipment at all times.
• Always works in a safe and compliant manner.
• Operates and maintains shop equipment.
• May perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment including forklift truck and skid steer.
• May perform minor electrical maintenance functions.
• Cleans and maintains process equipment.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to learn procedures related to the safe handling of materials.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• One (1) year of experience as a Plant Operator with the maintenance of water pumps and plant machinery (Preferred).
• Laboratory experience a plus
• Must be willing to work in environments with strong odors.
• Must be willing to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
