Liquid Env Solutions of Kansas is seeking a dependable Plant Operator for wastewater treatment in Kansas City. This hands-on role involves operating mechanical systems, testing water quality, and maintaining logs to ensure regulatory compliance.

The position starts at $23/hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a labor-intensive role, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a labor-intensive role is required.
• 1 year of wastewater processing or plant operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical systems including pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, diesel and gas engines, and compressors.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct water quality testing and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Complete daily logs, manifests, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Use tools such as rakes, shovels, hoses, pressure washers, cranes, and hoists.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Compensation starting at $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, start between 6am - 3:30pm
Monday - Friday (Saturdays optional, but sometimes mandatory)

What You’ll Do
