Job summary

ONEOK is seeking candidates for a plant operations role in Oklahoma, focusing on operating and maintaining processing equipment and ensuring safe, efficient plant performance. The role involves hands-on work with compressors, motors, engines, pumps, turbines and related control systems, with emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

Ideal candidates will read drawings, monitor equipment, perform start/stop operations, assist with maintenance, and maintain logs and safety records.

Qualifications

Reading drawings and diagrams to understand plant layouts and procedures.
Basic understanding of gas/liquid processing fundamentals and safety protocols.
Ability to access and use company software for logs and reporting.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain processing plant equipment including compressors, motors, engines, cooling equipment, pumps, and turbines.
Monitor and control equipment operating conditions, start/stop equipment as required.
Prepare equipment for maintenance: permitting, lockout/tagout, decommissioning.
Assist mechanics and others in performing repairs to equipment.
Identify and report safety and environmental concerns to supervisors.
Compile and maintain time sheets, work logs, safety/environmental forms, and maintenance records.
Drive and ensure maintenance is completed on company vehicles.
Remain alert to dangerous or hazardous conditions and respond promptly.
