Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Operator to safely and efficiently run production facilities, assist with deliveries scheduling, and support the production team in daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of aggregate/mining plant operations, and experience with hand tools and heavy equipment. Expect 12-hour shifts, potential weekends, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of aggregate/mining plant operations experience.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.
• Experience operating heavy mining/construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on systems and equipment.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs and report needed repairs to supervision.
• Maintain good housekeeping of plant and equipment and support other equipment as needed.
• Work well in a team environment and adhere to safety rules and procedures.
