Job summary

Crimson Group seeks a Plant Operator in Midland, TX to oversee and control plant equipment from centralized control boards. You will inspect equipment, identify issues, and address deviations to keep operations safe and efficient.

Reside in the Midland/Odessa area is required. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a growing automation-focused organization.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of control room experience, running the board.
• Cryo experience is preferred.
• Ability to run a complex board with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking with disciplined problem solving.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Familiarity with plant operations, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control plant equipment and processes through centralized control boards and computer systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Quickly identify and resolve operational issues to maintain continuous and efficient plant operations.
• Ensure proper flows, temperatures, pressures, and levels. Recognize operating deviations and take corrective action.
• Troubleshoot problems through the SCADA system ignition.
• Communicate with maintenance regarding significant repairs.
• Work with field personnel to solve issues and manage daily activities in disposal of up to 1,000,000 bbls of fluid per day.
• Maintain logs and records of plant operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance to schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Analyze operational data and suggest improvements to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

What you will be Doing:

• Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Analyze operational data and suggest improvements to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of control room experience, running the board.
• Cryo experience is preferred.

Work Schedule:

• 7 days on/7 days off. Rotating Days/Nights.
