Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Plant Operator for our Easton, PA facility handling medical waste. You will check in containers, verify paperwork, move and unload loads, and operate a forklift to load an autoclave.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifting of 50lbs to 75lbs).
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE.
• Proven longevity with employers.
• Job stability – non-seasonal, essential healthcare service.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.
