Job summary

Omya Inc. in Wathena, KS is seeking a Plant Operator to operate automated and semi-automated production equipment, load raw materials, and follow production formulas and batch sheets.

You will conduct product quality testing, record production and inventory data, and support preventive maintenance while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time, rotating 12-hour shift position with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime.
• Manufacturing, production, maintenance, military, or industrial experience preferred.

Salary Range: Starting at $24.00/hour + Shift Differential. This range reflects the base salary for this role. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and internal equity.

What You'll Do
